My posts might be a little sparatic for the upcoming week or so as I am out of commission. Hope to be up and about soon and back at work. In the meantime, today's look has that military feel to it. I have had this jacket for awhile now and I don't get to wear it to often but it seemed to work well with these side striped trousers. They have a small slit at the bottom which is very in right now..giving them that athleisure feel. I just added a geometric mock-neck top with a pop of red in the shoe and this great gold clutch from Rebecca Minkoff which picks up the gold from the buttons on the jacket. I figured I would post this bright and cheerful oversized sweater today with white jeans because it’s Labor Day and you know what that means….
When it comes to wearing white after the holiday what are your thoughts? I know the so called ‘rule’ is a lot more relaxed these days…but many people still refuse to wear white after Labor Day. Personally, I love an all white outfit even in the winter. I think it can be stunning, especially with the right shoes.

I hope everyone is doing amazing! As the summer comes to a close I find myself questioning weather or not to invest in certain items. It is time to start thinking about our cooler-weather wardrobe , but sometimes it is just TOO hard to pass up on certain pieces (hint: today’s tank!!!)
I feel like it has been forever since I have put a new outfit post up on the blog, but I couldn’t be more excited to share how this ‘girls’ knit top purchase can be justified and worn right into the fall and winter.
When it comes to autumn dressing…layers are key…so what makes a tank top any different? For this one in particular, I would add either a black bodysuit underneath, a snug fitting turtleneck or long-sleeve top.
Today, I have it paired with vintage inspired jeans with white eyelet details, and pink patent pumps for an unexpected GIRLy pop. A pink and brown suede bag mixed with silver and black jewelry acts as a perfect combo between street and chic. Shop today’s look below:

With little white dresses you always have a variety of styling options so it really is up to you what you are in the mood for. The sun is shining and we are in for another great day today, so I thought I would wear these shorts from last year with a great top from intermix that I fell in love with. (It is another item on sale right now). So Crisp and clean looking, yet the ruffles add a little flirty fun and paired with the polka dot in the shorts with the scalloped edge, what's left to say? I wanted to add a little sophistication so I decided on heels rather than a flat sandal to pump up my look. While they do not have this particular pattern this year, they are still available in a wide variety of colors. Just a bit of cuteness when you want shorts but also want to dress your outfit up a little. The fabric is great and so is the fit. I am all pink today (my favorite color!!) This is another outfit I purchased from the crazy sale happening at Intermix. Both this sweater and these shorts are now marked under $100.
This sweater is a pretty pink rib crew neck that can be worn all year and layered into any look and I paired it today with these tailored jacquard shorts. I love the charm and subtle beauty of the pattern because it is so glamorous and does not need any further embellishment (unless you want to add it of course). I have been seeing very similar pieces out for the fall and a ton of heavy and luxurious fabrics combined into both clothing and accessories. This is definitely a trend to look for. Hello everyone,
The weather here is finally nice so I'm full on with the spring and summer looks. After hosting an evening at the Rebecca Minkoff store in Soho, which I thought went very well and it was so nice meeting everyone, I received a box with all kinds of goodies from their PR people. The necklace and iPhone purse in this picture are two of those items. I decided to wrap the purse around my waist like a fanny pack which I think looks adorable. They come in several colors and I had been looking at them for a while so it was pretty exciting when I got it as a gift. Every time an opportunity comes my way to do something with my blog I become more and more addicted to it, it's so much fun and I am so grateful for the chance to do what I love. Thank you Rebecca and staff for your interest in me and thank you to all of my followers for taking the time out of your day to support me…it would not be possible without each and every one of you. Today's outfit is just a simple sleeveless top and a pair of shorts which have a skirt feel to them but when I add this fun necklace and the purse it just changes the whole look to eye popping cuteness. I'm loving it, and you will find you can do the same with any of your own outfits by just adding a little creativity with things you have in your closet. To keep this outfit from running on pink overload I decided to pair it with a blue denim pump to give it a little balance. Shop below:

Today I am pairing a light and flowy top with jeans, pumps, and a leather jacket for a casual street look. The yellow top gets its delicate feel from row upon row of pleats. It is still a little chilly out these days...hence the leather jacket (which also offers an edgy vibe)
The yellow and blue tones in today’s outfit just so happen to match my new bag from Henri Bendel perfectly!! This style is the West 57th Satchel in Black Multi and it will be available VERY SOON!!
