Happy Friday!!! Thank god it is finally the weekend! This look is all about comfort or as some may call it “casual Friday”. I paired these amazing knit culottes from Zara with a simple white long sleeve tee, white converse, and a chambray shirt. A shirt tied around the waist tends to look effortless and breezy, and is such a great way to relax a look…and I am definitely going to be rocking these pants a lot this spring, they are so easy to throw on with just about anything.

Today’s oversized knit sweater is all about layering with the side slit. I love a great sweater and this one in particular is perfect all year round. Since it hasn’t been the warmest outside I layered a white tee and chambray shirt underneath. I just love how the open sides give visibility to the layering…especially on a day when the wind is blowing. On a warmer spring day I would not layer anything underneath it and instead, pair it with all white or a less distressed denim.
It is almost 40 outside today!! Wahoo!! Talking about weather may be one of the most boring conversations, but lately it has been front and center for us New Yorkers. Today’s street style shots are pretty different than what I am used to but I am loving the stair action. This look is super duper casual and I may be pushing the limits with only a lightweight bomber jacket on…but I just cannot wait any longer. These are one of my favorite pair of Rag & Bone pants. They fit me perfectly (which is hard to find) and I love the military kind of look the suede side patches give them. I paired them with suede slip-on’s (also Rag & Bone) a chambray shirt, and of course the blue bomber for a real street look.
A sweatshirt acceptable to wear out?!? Yes Please! This pink sand colored sweatshirt is a dream come true...Loose and comfy enough to dress down, yet the sequins make it lavish enough to dress up. And since chambray moves effortlessly from low-key to fancy…why not pair the two?! I added a cream color skinny jean and my newest pair of Christian Louboutin pumps for a neutral mix. The t-strap heels are finished with a fishnet pointed toe and leather heel, creating the perfect silhouette.
Jeans & Chambray Shirt: J.Crew
Leather Jacket: Coach (Older, Similar Here)
This leather jacket is one of those 'awesome purchases' I have had for years. Its trendy yet chic cut allows for it to be styled so differently each time it is worn. The fringe adds a motorcycle feel, while the fur trimmed collar adds a luxurious statement when worn on a dressier occasion. I paired this jacket with a chambray shirt and light wash denim jeans to give the old canadian tuxedo a fresher look. Just like the jacket, the denim on denim style has endless possibilities. Paired with these red suede sneaker styled boots makes this outfit urban cool.
