I’M BACK!!!!

After spending a few hours fixing my site (which is still in the process) I can finally show you one of my new looks!! I called today’s post cowboy cool because this shirt/dress gives off a little bit of a cowboy vibe with the snap cuffs and fold-over collar. I was originally going to wear it as a dress with sneakers, but ended up switching it up…which is one reason this is worth the purchase…two in one!!

Can you believe it is already November 1st?? It is officially holiday season…which means one thing…TIME TO START OUR SHOPPING.  I have added a new shop for the season, which consists of my choices for both outfits and potential gifts. If you have noticed the bottom of my site may look a little bit different today. My currently craving section is in the process of being made into its own shop, which will be added at the top. I hope everyone has a great day!! Thanks for stopping by today. Below, shop today’s look:

Faded Pinstripes

Springy and casual for a beautiful Wednesday afternoon!! I paired a classic silhouette pinstripe button up with white jeans…and check out these awesome espadrilles!! The BIGGEST thank you to the Rebecca Minkoff team for a pair of their studded flats in bright coral. I am obsessed!! Pops of color are bound to make a difference in your outfits and wardrobe this spring (and pretty much all year long) Shop today’s look below:

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

I do not know about you, but I definitely have found love in this graphic oversized tee designed by Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci.  What really interests me is that Tisci gets a majority of his inspiration from the streets and the diverse culture of America. As a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology….I spent four years studying different ideologies of society and the deeper meanings behind both human relationships and institutions.  I thought of sociology after I watched a brief video I found on the internet (that you can watch here) Tisci takes his personal thoughts and experiences and dives into his creative work. You may see repetitive symbols such as stars, Bambi, basketball, rottweiler’s, and even sayings such as the one on today’s tee “I Feel Love”…and they all hold meanings.

It only makes sense that I went with a very distressed and streetstyle look with denim, black booties, and a black leather choker. These Fendi bug Chelsea boots are my latest shoe purchase and I just am TOO obsessed!! Anyway…you can get this look and similar by shopping below:

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Shades of Gray

One of my favorite boutiques to shop at in my area is Circles. They offer some of the most sought after designers such as DVF, Joie, Rag & Bone, Theory, Splendid, Veronica Beard, Nicole Miller Etc. Three pieces of today’s look can be found at the store- this jacket (Splendid), skirt (Joie), and boots (Vince). All pieces are favorite’s of mine this season.

I love that the long knit sleeves on this anorak give such a cozy vibe for the cold weather…not to mention are designed with a tribal inspired pattern. In addition to the striped tee and scarf layered underneath, I added this high-waisted wool skirt with an exposed front zipper, which is the perfect wardrobe addition. Suede booties are a must this fall and this pair fromVince offer the perfect touch and are also selling out fast!! Shop them below along with other items from today’s look. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy.

Wide Leg Trousers

Trousers:Alice & Olivia (sample sale find)|Top:Banana Republic (older)

Dino Petrocelli Photography

Let’s hear it for wide-leg trousers!! I picked up this pair at an Alice and Olivia sample sale a few months ago in the city.

There is a certain swagger to the large amounts of fabric…and endless styling options. This orange pair sits very high on the waist and since I am not the biggest fan of crop tops I went with a loose tank and rolled it under. The glitter on the top adds enough adornment so I decided no necklace. By keeping the top half simple and high wedges on on bottom makes this look very easy-to-wear.
