Smoking Lips

You guys know by now, I LOVE a good graphic tee. They pretty much always ‘up’ an outfit automatically, and this one by Saint Laurent is definitely no different.

Low Key Layers

You can pair a form fitting striped turtleneck underneath any of these options, scrunch up the sleeves a little, and adjust the under layer so you are able to see just the smallest bit.

High-Drama Tops

Let your sleeves do the talking this season with some of the most sought-after top silhouettes. High-drama tops add the perfect amount of flare to step your outfit game up a notch.

Thats A Wrap

Looking for the perfect mix of conservative and playful? Introducing the ultimate wrap skirt…

Think of it as your next perfect white tee piece that can take you anywhere.

Tie The Knot

Since the intricate style blouse offers shape and sophistication, I decided to stay minimal when it came to styling.

Malibu

A graphic tee can easily become the focus of any chic outfit. You can dress it up, or it can offer a more casual approach to style.

Cropped And Twisted

Chic, downtown, yet also sexy-tough are all words that can be used to describe the T by Alexander Wang collection.

Sassy Stripes

Stripes never really go out of style…horizontal, vertical, nautical, colorful, every which way…

Let It Snow

In a few more days we will be ringing in a brand new year. 2016 brought so many new experiences for me and I am excited for 2017 to see what it may hold. It has been snowing for the past couple of days so my photographer thought it would be a good idea to get out and have a little fun with it. Every now and then the little kid comes out in all of us whether it be catching snowflakes on your tongue, throwing snowballs or making snow angels. It was a great day to be out and about making the most of it. I was recently invited to the Alice and Olivia sample sale before anyone else and I got first dibs on many beautiful items one of which was this long skirt and matching acrylic clutch. Originally wanting to wear heeled boots, the weather being as it was I decided to put on my low boots, socks, grab a pair of earmuffs and just go with it. Turns out it worked so well. Sometimes the unplanned turns out to be the best. I love these pictures as they show so much of the real me.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and amazing New Year!!!

Show Me Your Stripes

Dress:Asos(wearing petite)|Bodysuit:Wolford|Boots:Stuart Weitzman|Bag:Salar(sold out,similar below)

This holiday season try something a little different than your average red, green, or all black outfits. Show me your stripes!!! Horizontal, vertical, black, white, colorful, or any-which way stripes make a graphic statement. They add a new rule to dressing up. If stripes aren’t your thing, you can try adding prints or textured statements.

I am SO in love with this jacquard mini dress (available petite, regular, or tall). The price is pretty crazy too! With the weather really cooling down these last few weeks, I decided to add an easy-to-layer Wolford bodysuit underneath. Turtleneck’s are really my thing (even though some people think they are for your grandma) I think they are always classy and elegant. With this look, the turtleneck adds a more effortless element. Hey guys!!! Happy Monday!!

Today’s look is all about chic layering and mixing of bold colors. This ‘cocoon’ coat is inspired by old-school stadium blankets and adds warmth without bulk. Available in a plethora of colors…your options are limitless. From bright yellow, pink, orange, red and everyone’s favorite neutrals..you can really do a lot with this coat (and those aren’t even half of the colors!)

The one I am wearing pictured above is “French Purple”…and the name just happens to match this vintage Parisian logo tee. Contrasting stripes and feminine details on the scarf add a bold finishing touch, combined with glitter booties (perfect for the holiday season). Shop this look below:

Loop Cardi

…and I have officially found the sweater of my dreams.

Oversized & warm, this cardigan is one of those purchases I will live in. Wear it alone or layer it under an even bigger coat…either way you get the cozy feel from this loop cardi. It can bring you through fall, into the holiday season, and last you all winter.

Today I paired it with skinny jeans, my Stella flatforms, and my new beautiful patchwork belt! The colorful leather can add a spark to everything from billowy dresses to jeans and trousers. I am loving the mixture of patterns and deep tones for the fall. Shop today's look below:

Happy Friday Everyone!!

I posted this outfit on Instagram a few days ago, so I decided to put it up on my blog because something may just surprise you!! We have seen this patch trend from the runways to the streets and on pieces ranging from forever21 to designers such as Stella McCartney, Mira Mikati, Anya Hindmarch, and even Dolce and Gabbana.

Whether you want an artsy or more edgy vibe, the decoration and emoji-style detailing will not let you down. You can wear items completely covered or maybe just have 1 or 2 graphics. Pieces from the designers mentioned above may be a bit expensive for most of us, but that doesn’t mean you can’t join in on the fun. The sweater I have on today is under $20, and I don’t think anyone would ever even know. You can even get creative with this trend….I have seen adorable Iron on and Stick on patches…DIY!!

Below, I have linked today’s outfit and several other favorite patched pieces I have fell in love with at all price points. Thanks for stopping by today. Have an amazing weekend everyone!!

Venezia

Ciao!!!

Thank God It’s Friday!! I am off to the shore on Monday…woohoo!!

You may have recently seen me wear a Paris graphic tee in the last week, and today I am showcasing my Venezia one with a gondola and all! They are both part of the destination art tee’s from J.Crew. There are a few others including Rome and New York (both so cute and linked below)

Staying with the whole ‘water scene’ on the tee…why not emphasize the striped lining inside of this linen blazer and sailor-like stripe wedges. I got these wide-leg pants from Topshop last year and the buttons seems to pull the entire look together. I added red sunnies for something a little different! I hope everyone has an amazing weekend. Firty Florals

Tee:Forever21(sold out,similar here/dress here)|Overalls:Forever21|Sandals:Birkenstock

Dino Petrocelli Photography

Here is something to brighten up your Monday blues….this outfit is under $30. I originally had stopped in Forever21 and picked up a few pieces that I thought were cute and could mix with some other items I had at home. When I was paying in line I had the idea to layer this striped tee under the floral romper for a little pattern play. One trick for mixing patterns is to keep them in the same color family. Another is to treat stripes as a neutral.

I think this romper is too adorable to pass up. The red allover floral print is lush and striking and the boxy fit and adjustable straps lend you that overalls vibe. Below, I also added a few other similar pairs I love just as much. Thanks for stopping by today.

Elevated Essentials

Dino Petrocelli Photograhpy

While I'm not feeling the greatest these last few days suffering with allergies that almost always turn into sinus problems, I'm forcing myself to keep on trucking. A little slower but non the less. I have been wanting a pair of these Stella McCartney shoes for a while now and usually by the time I'm ready to pull the trigger they are already sold out. This time I was all over them and I'm obsessed with them. They run about a half size big so beware if you should decide to get them. There are so many ways I want to wear them, I think they look good with just about everything. Today I paired them with these white jeans and a striped tee and then added a belt to pull the color from the shoes. I love to mix color and pattern to add that little spark to an outfit.

While not looking forward to fall, I wanted to start giving you all a little insight to what I have been seeing. I will be updating you from time to time now about what is popular for the upcoming season. I am seeing a lot of velvet, jacquard and leather, patchwork, large floral prints and right up my alley, Sooo many ruffles. The shoes are gorgeous... and everything is so rich looking. I feel like we are headed back to a time of ladylike elegance. Some of my favorite things this year are the Gucci kangaroo jacquard loafers, wide belts and I am loving the hand held bags of yesteryear. They started showing up this summer and are on my list for fall. I have started my pre-fall additions so be sure to check them out.

Thanks for stopping by today, you can shop the links below.

Easy Does It

Top:Forever21|Skirt:Asos(similar)|Hat:Inverni(similar)|Sneakers:Vans

Today I am mixing on trend pieces in an unexpected way. I purchased this skirt from Asos at the beginning of the summer with the feeling it was going to sell out (it did) …everything always goes super fast on that site. It is very unique with tiered ruffles and frayed hems.

I am usually such a ‘heel’ girl over flats but I have been trying to shoot more looks where I dress down apparel and make it more practical to wear during the day. With that being said, I decided to pair today’s main piece with a lightweight sleeveless knit, fedora, and classic slip-on sneakers. The allover stripes print gives the look character…making it a little polished yet also a little undone.

Below, find the links to today’s outfit. I have also incorporated similar items, cute summer tanks, and adorable alternative sneaker options that can be paired with a white skirt like this one. All items can be mixed and matched! (I am really loving the metallic sneaker and crotchet crop top combo)

TGIFFFFF!!

When I was shooting this look I couldn’t stop laughing and singing “workin at the car washhhh”

…Dino then said we should shoot at a car wash and that he would make it really cool…I ended the convo right there (even though I’m sure he would) Guys with their ideas…

Anyway, I have wanted a pair of these Stella McCartney platforms since they came out. They are a serious splurge, but I finally went for it. I think a majority of people have a love/hate relationship with these shoes. For guys, mostly just hate. When mine finally came and my dad first saw them his first response was “what are those…….?”

Personally, I just love them and that’s all that matters to me! They are a mix of trendy and classic, and have height and traction. I originally thought I wanted a black pair with a black bottom, but I thought the burgundy would look so good in the fall. I have them pictured in my head with boyfriend jeans and oversized sweaters.

Today I paired them with a denim utility romper unbuttoned with a striped tee…effortless, cool, and comfortable…with just a hint of disco.

Reach for your platforms this weekend and dance your troubles away!!

The Set Up

TGIF

I cannot explain to you how much I love this set (and pretty much any cute set for that matter) They are just the best for summer and make it way too easy to get dressed. I purchased this one from Revolve, and they have soo many other adorable options as well. Many of the pieces I end up buying are flirty, effortless, and have numerous styling options.

The sleek stripes and tiered layers set me up to buy this one (pun intended). I immediately fall for anything girly. I don’t know what it is with me and ruffles these days, but I cannot stop (even though they can be such a pain to iron). This is by the brand Privacy Please. They are a vintage-inspired label with the cutest pieces. Check some of them out below. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend.
