Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all had an amazing holiday season. So far, the cold weather seems to be holding off enough to get out and still feel comfortable enough to shoot without a coat and not freeze to death. I recently found this tweed plaid shift at forever 21 for such a great price I couldn't pass it up. Would you ever guess that it was just 28 dollars? The fabric is a nice quality and I love how the bottom is just frayed. This one is so easy to style, it makes perfect sense to add a black body suit, I chose a turtleneck but you could easily wear a blouse or even a long sleeved tee. Normally I would wear my over the knee boots bare legged but today I decided to add black tights. You could even wear a textured pair for an extra punch if you like. Being so into hats lately, when I saw this cute number at my sisters I thought I would just borrow it thinking it would be an adorable touch. Thank god for sisters...especially when you have one that is so willing to LET you borrow. On the day I shot this outfit it was snowing but it was a wet snow so we just grabbed an umbrella, also trimmed in black. I did bring along a coat but the outfit was just to cute to cover up. Even when you are wearing something as simple as a shift, there are always things you can add to take your look to another level. A brooch or some really fun earrings would also be a great idea. Just that little extra bit of something. When I am planning my outfits I always take a quick look around my closet to see what I have that would complete my look. Sometimes I surprise myself, you never know what you will find that you forgot you even had.

We have seen flare jeans make a huge comeback, so what is going to be next on the list? Personally, I am 100% feeling bell sleeves… head-turning and wearable.
When I found this top online, I purchased it right away. The sleeves bring a hint of drama and a fresh look to an all black and white outfit with contrast trim accents and large ruffles. The off of the shoulder neckline and wide leg black trousers add a sexy edge to this polished look. I think is it important not to go over-board with a piece like this. Below, find this look and similar bell sleeve tops. Thanks for stopping by today!!
It is always the finishing touches that make an outfit complete and one of a kind. I love a good white dress in the summer, and this one happens to be simple and chic with a back cut-out detail. With little white dresses you always have a variety of styling options so it really is up to you what you are in the mood for. You can stay all white, add black pieces for a nice black and white look or you can add statement pieces for a bold look.
Today I decided on showcasing my favorite pink patent leather and glittered pumps. They are vibrant, girly, and ohh so fun!! I added this straw shoulder bag for a final touch of pink. Shop this look below:
Rainy days are here (unfortunately) but that should never prevent you from looking your best! One accessory to make sure you have this time of year is definitely a cute umbrella. There are so many adorable options and they aren’t your average accessory you need to splurge on. You can find them at so many different stores at a low price. I personally recommend to check out Kate Spade…they are under $40 and so fun!!
I have been searching everywhere for a pair of cute white short overalls…something I thought that would be super easy…but it wasn’t. I finally found a pair at Madewell that weren’t too distressed and not too long. I decided to pair them with a striped tee, a hooded coat, and rain boots (another necessity). You can always stay cute no matter what the weather decides to throw at you! Shop today’s look below:
