Think stripes, grids, patterns, and in today’s case even topstitch. The technique once used strictly for seams, is now also used as a decorative element.

Hello friends,
My posts might be a little sparatic for the upcoming week or so as I am out of commission. Hope to be up and about soon and back at work. In the meantime, today's look has that military feel to it. I have had this jacket for awhile now and I don't get to wear it to often but it seemed to work well with these side striped trousers. They have a small slit at the bottom which is very in right now..giving them that athleisure feel. I just added a geometric mock-neck top with a pop of red in the shoe and this great gold clutch from Rebecca Minkoff which picks up the gold from the buttons on the jacket. This is probably one of my favorite looks for the season. Find similar items below and thank you for stopping by today.
Ciao!!!
Thank God It’s Friday!! I am off to the shore on Monday…woohoo!!
You may have recently seen me wear a Paris graphic tee in the last week, and today I am showcasing my Venezia one with a gondola and all! They are both part of the destination art tee’s from J.Crew. There are a few others including Rome and New York (both so cute and linked below)
Staying with the whole ‘water scene’ on the tee…why not emphasize the striped lining inside of this linen blazer and sailor-like stripe wedges. I got these wide-leg pants from Topshop last year and the buttons seems to pull the entire look together. I added red sunnies for something a little different! I hope everyone has an amazing weekend. Rainy days are here (unfortunately) but that should never prevent you from looking your best! One accessory to make sure you have this time of year is definitely a cute umbrella. There are so many adorable options and they aren’t your average accessory you need to splurge on. You can find them at so many different stores at a low price. I personally recommend to check out Kate Spade…they are under $40 and so fun!!
I have been searching everywhere for a pair of cute white short overalls…something I thought that would be super easy…but it wasn’t. I finally found a pair at Madewell that weren’t too distressed and not too long. I decided to pair them with a striped tee, a hooded coat, and rain boots (another necessity). You can always stay cute no matter what the weather decides to throw at you! Shop today’s look below:

Happy Valentine’s Day Loves!!!
I shot this all white look last week before heading to New York City for fashion week. Red accent pieces make it perfect for Valentine’s Day and the soft fringe adds a cute and cozy feel. If you are searching for a last minute date night outfit consider your red accessories with an all neutral look.
It has been absolutely freezing here in the city… all I want to do is lay under my covers!! Everyone has been layering up like crazy. What are everyone’s plans today?! I would love to hear!! You can shop this look and similar below.
XOXO

Hey guys!! I am off to a late start today…oops (just one of those days!!)
I am rocking another one of my favorite midi skirts today, which also can be perfect for the holidays and holiday parties. This one is printed with stripes and birds and has such a delightful charm to it. I put on a striped top, pair of stylish shearing earmuffs, leather gloves, and lace-up leather pumps for a glam/chic look with warmth and style. You can shop this look and similar below:
Beret:Stella McCartney|Top:Topshop|Pants:Theory(older)|Boots:Reed Krakoff(similar here)|Scarf was a gift from Paris
Bonjour!!!
I am feeling very Parisian today with my new Stella McCartney beret…so what better way to accessorize it than with a Paris scarf draped across my shoulders. Both lend an effortlessly chic finish to this look. As you may know by now, I tend to stick to neutrals when the weather changes. They are easy to mix-and-match, are simple and versatile.
My parents bought me this scarf while they were in Paris, so unfortunately I have no advice on where to purchase it! The good news is…you do not need it to pull off this look. Below I have picked out other berets, wraps, and scarves that will work just as well. Remember, you do not need to stick to one neutral color. I hope you enjoy! Have a great day!

I am going to go out on a limb here and say this branch out pleated maxi skirt from Chicwish is seriously the coolest statement piece for the fall. I get such an October/ November vibe from the black and white print. I kept this look sharp with a black top, lace-up pumps, and added an envelope style wristlet with a script message-Wanted. Below you can shop this look and similar black and white skirts. Thanks for stopping by!! XOXO
How awesome is this faux leather jumpsuit from TopShop?! (I told you…I am obsessed these days) It is a pretty edgy piece so I decided to stick to monochrome tones. The clean lines and black crewneck add a bold touch to this look.
These boots from Saint Laurent are no longer available but I picked out a few pair I love just as much that would also work with this outfit. I found a pair at TopShop that are SO similar to my favorite Louboutin boots (but in suede). You can find them listed below! Also…here is a little good news to brighten up your Tuesday- A sale at Shopbop starts today. 25% off for 3 days only. Use code INTHEFAME25 with your order. Happy Shopping!
You can expect to see me in a lot of TopShop this fall. I have been finding the pieces to be the perfect mix between the catwalk and the street. Today’s entire ensemble is indeed- TopShop.
I paired this cropped retro sweater with ivory trousers. There are a lot of details in these pieces that just seem to work even though they are different styles. From the black tassels on the sweater, button details on the pant pockets, and even the wrap-around tie fastening on the shoes…there is definitely some fall magic happening here.
Side note: These shoes were a favorite of mine last season and I could not be happier to see them yet again this year in suede and all different colors!! Shop this look and similar below!

Unfortunately this outfit is no longer available, but you can still find the coat at Topshop. This heavy dress coat is perfect for over evening wear or during the day to dress up a casual pair of slacks or a dress. Today I have paired it with these navy blue oversized trousers and sequined varsity top for both a casual yet elegant look.

Who could go wrong with a canadian tuxedo? This denim on denim trend has appeared everywhere from celebrities to the streets of NYC. One of my personal favorites…is a staple for an easy to-go outfit. Paired with a stylish crop top underneath for easy transition from warm days to cool nights is the best combo. Throw on a funky color heel for a dressier look and you are ready to hit the town. Easy and effortless this denim onesie is a MUST!!

I was debating whether or not to keep these shoes, but once I tried them on with a few outfits I decided, they were a go. I love them with everything, but today I paired them with black jeans and this great sweatshirt from The Textile Rebels. The black and red together create a very dynamic look. I added the fedora for fun. Love this outfit.
