PLEATS PLEASE!!

Today I am pairing a light and flowy top with jeans, pumps, and a leather jacket for a casual street look. The yellow top gets its delicate feel from row upon row of pleats. It is still a little chilly out these days...hence the leather jacket (which also offers an edgy vibe)

The yellow and blue tones in today’s outfit just so happen to match my new bag from Henri Bendel perfectly!! This style is the West 57th Satchel in Black Multi and it will be available VERY SOON!! It is one of my favorites because it is so striking!! Stayed tuned for additional posts because I will be sure to keep everyone in the loop when it is available.

This look is one that is easy very to mimic. Mostly everyone owns a leather jacket (it is a closet staple must) All you have to do is find a pleated top and add a pair of pumps…even sandals. Shop my look below:

Faded Pinstripes

Springy and casual for a beautiful Wednesday afternoon!! I paired a classic silhouette pinstripe button up with white jeans…and check out these awesome espadrilles!! The BIGGEST thank you to the Rebecca Minkoff team for a pair of their studded flats in bright coral. I am obsessed!! Pops of color are bound to make a difference in your outfits and wardrobe this spring (and pretty much all year long) Shop today’s look below:

I Feel Love

I feel love givenchy

Tee:Givenchy (also love matching pouch)|Jeans:Levi's|Booties:Fendi

Happy Monday Everyone!!!

I do not know about you, but I definitely have found love in this graphic oversized tee designed by Givenchy’s creative director Riccardo Tisci.  What really interests me is that Tisci gets a majority of his inspiration from the streets and the diverse culture of America. As a graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology….I spent four years studying different ideologies of society and the deeper meanings behind both human relationships and institutions.  I thought of sociology after I watched a brief video I found on the internet (that you can watch here) Tisci takes his personal thoughts and experiences and dives into his creative work. You may see repetitive symbols such as stars, Bambi, basketball, rottweiler’s, and even sayings such as the one on today’s tee “I Feel Love”…and they all hold meanings.

It only makes sense that I went with a very distressed and streetstyle look with denim, black booties, and a black leather choker. These Fendi bug Chelsea boots are my latest shoe purchase and I just am TOO obsessed!! Anyway…you can get this look and similar by shopping below:

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Patch Things Up

Your 70s style inspo starts with a jumpsuit…and ends somewhere between patchwork embellishments and vintage finds. The appliques on this pair of dungarees are lighthearted and they add a special touch. I tied a vintage Celine scarf around my neck and added white low top converse for a pieced together look and timeless appeal.

I am headed to Aruba next week and I definitely can see myself traveling in this number (or one of my many other vacation finds) because 1. it is comfortable and 2. most importantly… very cute.

You see patches on everything these days from denim, to tee’s, and even sneakers…you can even buy them separate to DIY. Shop today's look and other adorable finds below:

This orange cotton sweater is the perfect now-and-later- layer. With the weather so up and down lately, getting dressed in the morning can be pretty confusing. With that being said, today I added an optional blazer and a simple pair of jeans. What I am really loving is this vibrant statement cuff found on sale at J.Crew for around $8 (so crazy). It is the little things like this that can make transitioning a little easier. Thanks for stopping by!! XOXO

Lessons in Layering

Denim:Rag&Bone| J.Crew blazer, scarf, boots,vest|Turtleneck:Alice&Olivia

Dino Petrocelli Photography

Tis’ the season for layering...a look that can keep you warm but also make an outfit more interesting. All you need to do is combine a few basics along with some similar style pieces. My basics today consist of a navy turtleneck and a pair of jeans. I have mixed in a feminine and fitted houndstooth blazer with a buffalo-check vest and oversized scarf.

You have to check out the Sperry collection for J.Crew!! The winter-weather-ready boots are cozy and perfect for the snow. You can shop this look and similar below. Have a great day everyone!! XOXO

Happy Friday everyone!!

Today’s look is pretty casual and focused around classic black and red plaid. I think the crazy thing about the bold pattern is that it has so many different connotations (preppy, punk, grungy, chic etc.) There is a bit of a combo in this outfit- ranging from distressed jeans to this charming crossbody bag.

What are everyone’s weekend plans?! Do you have any awesome outfits picked out you are dying to wear?? I would love to hear about it! Thanks for stopping by!! Shop today’s look below:

Beanie Weather

Sweater:Vince|Boots:Stuart Weitzman|Beanie:Autumn Cashmere (currently not available online)

Dino Petrocelli Photography

I am unsure why it is soo hard to find a nice oversized black sweater…but it is. This one by Vince is a bit of a splurge, but it will take you through fall and winter with ease. It is incredibly soft and can look chic from day to night.

It may have been really nice out these last few days, but winter aka beanie weather is around the corner and all of the cute ones always sell out fast. This snowflake pompom one is by Autumn Cashmere. They always have super cute sets. Last year I purchased a matching leopard beanie, scarf, and glove set which is still one of my favorites from them. Unfortunately, this snowflake one is currently not available online but I will keep checking in and keep you posted. Below, I rounded up pieces from this look and some of my favorite winter beanies this season. Keep in mind that cold weather accessories can make awesome holiday gifts!!

Red Accents

Sweatshirt:H&M|Jeans:Joe's Jeans|Boots:Toga Pulla|Scarf:Vintage Celine|Hat:Older

Dino Petrocelli Photography

You don’t need a whole new wardrobe to spice up your look…sometimes all you need are the right accessories. Even the most boring outfits can be transformed with the help of a few key pieces. Today I have on jeans and a plain black sweatshirt (boring right?!) but the outfit is given character by red accents and a mod inspired driving cap.

Around my neck is a Celine printed silk scarf I ordered off of the vintage boutique on Farfetch. There are some really awesome pieces on there for great prices.  The red design just happens to match my new Toga Pulla boots….which I immediately became obsessed with as soon as I saw. I think the western style silver buckles on the side are just the coolest and the scarf adds a perfect refined touch.

If you are searching for a plain sweatshirt, I recommend this one from H&M. It is a great price and also comes in light pink and gray. Below, shop this look and my scarf picks (both vintage & new) I hope everyone has an amazing weekend. XOXO

Cargo&Camo

Sweater:Current/Elliott|Denim:Citizens of Humanity(Similar)|Boots:Aldo|Bag:Fendi (Similar)

How ironic is it that something that is used to blend in with your surroundings is also a fashion trend that can make you stand out?!  Camouflage is typically a more rugged look, but there are just as many high-end pieces out there as there are your everyday tee’s and sweaters.

The oversized cardigan I have on today is by Current/Elliot and I LOVE it. It is so comfortable, and oversized sweaters are the best for fall and winter because you can put them on with legit anything. I decided to stay with the oversized vibe, and added my boyfriend/cargo jeans along with my new suede booties and perfectly matching Fendi bag! Below you will see other pieces by Current/Elliot along with one of my favorite items- the cargo pants by Faith Connexion (first seen on Kim K). I am obsessed.

What are your opinions on camo? Love or hate?!

Tokyo is for Lovers

Staying sharp with this amazing charcoal plaid coat from J.O.A. (which is now under $100 I may add!) Today’s look is a casual and everyday outfit featuring jeans and a printed tee with the script “Tokyo is for Lovers”. I went a few sizes up in the top because I preferred it a little oversized.

This look is one everyone can put their own twist on. Whether it be a different tee, a sweater, layering, or accessories…let your style shine! I added a felt Rag and Bone hat for a charming touch and menswear-inspired feel. I wore my favorite Stuart Weitzman 50/50 leather/neoprene boots. For anyone looking for the perfect pair of over-the-knee boots I recommend these. I know they are a little pricey, but trust me they are worth every penny!! Below shop this look and similar plaid coats:

Zip Knit

Sweater:Asilio|Denim:Stella McCartney|Boots:Vince

Dino Petrocelli Photography

Today’s outfit is really unique for two reasons. The first being the obvious…..this awesome zippered knit from one of my new favorite brands Asilio. The details on it transform your average sweater into something much, much cooler, while also giving a breath of fresh air.

The second being…these Stella McCartney jeans were originally bleached with a pink tone (we had a little mishap with the washing machine….oops!!). Anyway, now I have a new pair of jeans.

This look is very laid back. The cropped sweater adds the perfect touch of femininity for a comfortable, yet chic look paired with suede booties. You can shop this look and similar below (minus the pink Stella jeans!!):
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day.

Don't Even Care

Sweatshirt:Etre Cecile| Jeans:Etre Cecile| Boots:Saint Laurent

Dino Petrocelli Photography

Monday got me….

Not Even Caring.

I have been finding some really amazing patchwork pieces online recently, especially in denim. Some splurge worthy and others so inexpensive…either way both end up being TOO GOOD to pass up.

Today’s jeans have a vintage look to them, but the plaid patch adds a preppy feel. I love pairing white button-ups under sweaters and sweatshirts so it worked out perfectly! When it came to shoes…I was debating between Adidas sneakers and my gold boots. Although both would work, I love how the gold looks mixed with the yellow in the plaid. I went ahead and picked out some other really cool patchwork jeans and graphic tee’s and sweatshirts. Shop below! And enjoy your week!

When all else fails- Denim over everything. Today’s all denim look is broken up by a black leather belt and my favorite new gold booties.

We all have those different products we are willing to spend money on and those we are not. Designer denim has become a ‘thing’ for a while now (along with a lot of other merchandise) but we can’t forget about the awesome alternatives available. Today I did something a little different and found some great, similar, and more affordable pieces. Shop Below:

Precious and Primitive

Scarf:Precious and Primitive| Denim:Rag and Bone| Pumps: Christian Louboutin

Today I am showing off my beautiful new scarf from a recent collaboration with Precious and Primitive. The line created by Stephanie Sachs and Sandee Zahn combines precious fabrics with primitive designs, and uses bold colors and patterns in their ultra soft scarves. The tribal pattern (pictured above) has rich shades of brown and cream, which is perfect for me because I love neutrals so much.

I decided to be very simple today, while pairing the scarf with a white tee, denim, and my nude pumps. There are so many unique ways you can style the scarfs from headpieces, to tops, and even sarongs.

Hues of Blue

Happy Friday everyone,

It feels so good to finally be out and about after much family illness. This week I was in New York with my sister and friends and we have been having such a good time. Wednesday we went to a white party at Bagatelle and Thursday we were invited to a launch party for StyleLend in Soho that was hosted in a beautiful penthouse owed by Nouriel Roubini. I had a chance to meet some really nice people and from there we had a great time bouncing around the city.

Now I am on to today's post where I am wearing my favorite white Joe's Jeans and this knit multi-color striped top with contrasting cuffs from T by Alexander Wang (on sale now!!). I am loving the striking look of this top and I added a blue belt that came on an older random dress and it just happened to work perfectly.

Adding a neutral pump and a bag from Reed and all set for a casual day. I'm off running errands today. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will see you Monday!

Short Days, Long Nights

Tee:Zara|Jacket:Zara|Jeans:Joe's Jeans|Pumps:Christian Louboutin

First and foremost I would like to say Thank you to Megan for this beautiful ring!! I just love it and they have the cutest things at www.mosettejewelry.com Check them out!! I was in NY last week and I picked up a few things at Zara including this great graphic tee and the sweetest little jacket, which I’m sure will get a lot of use. This type of jacket can be worn with so many things…dress it up or down, it can be worn on a casual day with jeans or shorts or you can pair it with a skirt or over a dress. I love everything about it…the fabric and the pattern with the little bit of fringe around the edge just calls my name. Today I chose to wear it with a pair of white jeans and my denim Louboutin’s, which when I purchased I wasn’t sure I would get a lot of use out of them but they are quickly becoming a go to, they seem to match everything…so easy to wear.
