A Suede Story

Suede, once thought of a material for cooler temperatures has become season-less. The delicate fabric continues to show its versatility, which has made it a well worth it investment.

Grunge Meets Girlie

I do not know about you but with the return of the fishnet trend my Instagram feed has become saturated with photos featuring the web-like tights under dresses, jeans, skirts, etc.

Cropped And Twisted

Chic, downtown, yet also sexy-tough are all words that can be used to describe the T by Alexander Wang collection.

Sassy Stripes

Stripes never really go out of style…horizontal, vertical, nautical, colorful, every which way…

Cruise Control

Cadet and newsie hats have become the recent topper of choice for A-list celebs, influencers, and streetstyle lovers everywhere. What was once a symbol of military is now a top trend for spring 2017.

Iconic

It’s official…my new favorite color for spring is yellow. The shade shines with happiness, hope, and positive energy.

Off

The creative director behind the Milan-based brand Off-White is defining the gray area between streetwear and high-fashion.

Statement Camo

This camo jacket isn’t exactly your definition of stealth...

Namaste

With the winter chill in the air, we have no other option but to bundle up…but there is no need to settle for the basic style jackets we have seen over and over again.

The Coach Dinky Bag

The Coach Spring 17’ collection fuses classic American style with counterculture influences. Along with biker details, fringe elements, and floral appliqué’s, the collection also puts a modern spin on one of the most iconic Coach bags ever made.

Tres Chic

Beanies and fedoras are a fashion girls favorites during cold weather seasons, but no hat collection is complete without a beret. Beyond the official duties of the topper in the military, the beret has almost become a cliche symbol of Parisian style

Boyfriend Sweater

“Boyfriend Style” clothing has become a huge phenomenon. From denim, to tees, sweaters, tailored pieces and even shoes…the masculine style is taking over womenswear.

Wearable Art

When I saw this hoodie I was immediately drawn to it- this McQ by Alexander McQueen hoodie strikes the perfect balance between edginess, whimsicality, and art.

Hello friends,

My posts might be a little sparatic for the upcoming week or so as I am out of commission. Hope to be up and about soon and back at work. In the meantime, today's look has that military feel to it. I have had this jacket for awhile now and I don't get to wear it to often but it seemed to work well with these side striped trousers. They have a small slit at the bottom which is very in right now..giving them that athleisure feel. I just added a geometric mock-neck top with a pop of red in the shoe and this great gold clutch from Rebecca Minkoff which picks up the gold from the buttons on the jacket. This is probably one of my favorite looks for the season. Find similar items below and thank you for stopping by today.

In a few more days we will be ringing in a brand new year. 2016 brought so many new experiences for me and I am excited for 2017 to see what it may hold. It has been snowing for the past couple of days so my photographer thought it would be a good idea to get out and have a little fun with it. Every now and then the little kid comes out in all of us whether it be catching snowflakes on your tongue, throwing snowballs or making snow angels. It was a great day to be out and about making the most of it. I was recently invited to the Alice and Olivia sample sale before anyone else and I got first dibs on many beautiful items one of which was this long skirt and matching acrylic clutch. Originally wanting to wear heeled boots, the weather being as it was I decided to put on my low boots, socks, grab a pair of earmuffs and just go with it. Turns out it worked so well. Sometimes the unplanned turns out to be the best. I love these pictures as they show so much of the real me.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and amazing New Year!!!

XOXO,
