Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all had an amazing holiday season. So far, the cold weather seems to be holding off enough to get out and still feel comfortable enough to shoot without a coat and not freeze to death. I recently found this tweed plaid shift at forever 21 for such a great price I couldn't pass it up. Would you ever guess that it was just 28 dollars? The fabric is a nice quality and I love how the bottom is just frayed. This one is so easy to style, it makes perfect sense to add a black body suit, I chose a turtleneck but you could easily wear a blouse or even a long sleeved tee. Normally I would wear my over the knee boots bare legged but today I decided to add black tights. You could even wear a textured pair for an extra punch if you like. Being so into hats lately, when I saw this cute number at my sisters I thought I would just borrow it thinking it would be an adorable touch. Thank god for sisters...especially when you have one that is so willing to LET you borrow. On the day I shot this outfit it was snowing but it was a wet snow so we just grabbed an umbrella, also trimmed in black. I did bring along a coat but the outfit was just to cute to cover up. Even when you are wearing something as simple as a shift, there are always things you can add to take your look to another level. A brooch or some really fun earrings would also be a great idea. Just that little extra bit of something. When I am planning my outfits I always take a quick look around my closet to see what I have that would complete my look. Sometimes I surprise myself, you never know what you will find that you forgot you even had.

This holiday season try something a little different than your average red, green, or all black outfits. Show me your stripes!!! Horizontal, vertical, black, white, colorful, or any-which way stripes make a graphic statement. They add a new rule to dressing up. If stripes aren’t your thing, you can try adding prints or textured statements.
I am SO in love with this jacquard mini dress (available petite, regular, or tall). The price is pretty crazy too! With the weather really cooling down these last few weeks, I decided to add an easy-to-layer Wolford bodysuit underneath. Turtleneck’s are really my thing (even though some people think they are for your grandma) I think they are always classy and elegant. With this look, the turtleneck adds a more effortless element. Bomber:Forever21|Sweater:Forever21|Leggings:Alice and Olivia (older)|Boots:Stuart Weitzman
Nowadays, there’s a bit of a rock n’ roll streak running through the lines of several brands. The Ramones, Kiss, ACDC…etc. Fashion’s finest are taking to the streets in rock band t-shirts and jackets, and tearing their items to shreds for an edgier feel. It couldn’t be more true how everything comes back in style.
I found this padded bomber featuring an embroidered ACDC graphic on the chest and printed world tour logo on the back. You could wear it with jeans and a tee for a laid back feel or pair it with leggings as I did today. Underneath a layered knit with a drawstring cowl neck adds a little more warmth. It also is available in a few other colors.

Good afternoon everyone!!! I hope everyone’s holiday was amazing! I feel like it has been years since I have posted a new look on the blog soo lets get to it!
These black jeans detailed in ruffles from the knee to the floor are probably one of the coolest sample sale finds ever. The ruffles are so chic and girly. Pieces like this are my favorite because they are so unique and it is difficult to find similar items. On top I went with a sleek jacket with a soft leopard-printed for a polished look. The jacket is now a sale…I would say a must to purchase!! I paired my Stuart Weitzman black calf-hair booties to finish off this outfit. Shop this look and similar items below:

Many of you may know my Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots are my everyday winter go-to’s…literally worth every penny. However, the newer version with shearling trim may be my new found love. A necessary neutral and very sophisticated.
Today I have on a borrowed-from-the-boys oversized shirtdress layered under an oversized knit with high side slits. I figured I may as well take advantage of the so called “warmer” weather before winter actually hits us. You can shop this look and similar below. Thanks for stopping by!!

Mini Skirts never really go out of style. They are fun fashion items that anyone can rock with the proper accessories. Today’s mini features an allover houndstooth pattern with two front pockets. I may also add this particular mini is under $20 (so crazy!!)
If you are looking to switch up your look consider pairing your mini skirt with tights, stockings, or leggings. On top you can also go with a bomber (which are very on trend right now) layered over a chunky knit or even a cropped leather/suede jacket. Shop this look and similar mini skirts below:
Sweater:Vince|Boots:Stuart Weitzman|Beanie:Autumn Cashmere (currently not available online)
I am unsure why it is soo hard to find a nice oversized black sweater…but it is. This one by Vince is a bit of a splurge, but it will take you through fall and winter with ease. It is incredibly soft and can look chic from day to night.
It may have been really nice out these last few days, but winter aka beanie weather is around the corner and all of the cute ones always sell out fast. This snowflake pompom one is by Autumn Cashmere. They always have super cute sets. Last year I purchased a matching leopard beanie, scarf, and glove set which is still one of my favorites from them. Unfortunately, this snowflake one is currently not available online but I will keep checking in and keep you posted. Below, I rounded up pieces from this look and some of my favorite winter beanies this season. Keep in mind that cold weather accessories can make awesome holiday gifts!!
Tee:H&M|Coat:J.O.A.|Denim:Joe's Jeans|Boots:Stuart Weitzman
Staying sharp with this amazing charcoal plaid coat from J.O.A. (which is now under $100 I may add!) Today’s look is a casual and everyday outfit featuring jeans and a printed tee with the script “Tokyo is for Lovers”. I went a few sizes up in the top because I preferred it a little oversized.
This look is one everyone can put their own twist on. Whether it be a different tee, a sweater, layering, or accessories…let your style shine! I added a felt Rag and Bone hat for a charming touch and menswear-inspired feel. I wore my favorite Stuart Weitzman 50/50 leather/neoprene boots. For anyone looking for the perfect pair of over-the-knee boots I recommend these. I know they are a little pricey, but trust me they are worth every penny!! Shorts:Alice and Olivia| Top:Theory| Jacket: Nicholas (now on sale)| Sandals:Stuart Weitzman|Choker:Asos|Bracelets:David Yurman,David Yurman,Vita Fede
Todays outfit consists of these Alice and Olivia white shorts and this silk black top. When I add my gladiator sandals and this Nicholas floral biker jacket the outfit takes on a new and dramatic look. Biker jackets, which have become a wardrobe staple of the millennium, have changed drastically over the years. Designers are adding everything from prints to embellishments, and just by pulling in a few different things…be it a hat, belt, jewelry, or shoes a look can completely change. I am all about a choker these days, and absolutely love what this multi-row festival-esque necklace brings to the outfit.
Shorts:BB Dakota (Similar)| Top: BB Dakota (Not Available Similar Here and Here))| Sandals:Stuart Weitzman
Loving simple summer clothing and even though I already own black leather shorts, this BB Dakota pair were so reasonably priced and looked so cute with this little halter top, I simply could not resist. You can keep a leather look light and springy by adding bright whites or a pop of color. Another opportunity to wear my new favorite gladiators as well!

Hat: Genie by Eugenia Kim/ J.Crew Blouse, Coat, Sweater, Pants/Boots: Stuart Weitzman /Bag: Givenchy
During cold winter months it can be so hard sometimes to bundle up to stay warm, yet still look fashionable. Winter accessories can easily look overwhelming, so I think it is important to invest in the right kind, even though they may be pricey. For example, today I am wearing a long down puffer coat that is designed to insulate heat and manages not to look like a human sleeping bag. I paired it with leggings, and a cashmere sweater that is a good investment for layering, looking stylish, and staying warm. You lose the most heat through your head so it is definitely important to find a cute hat. I love this tweed Eugenia Kim hat that is perfect for both city streets and rural roads.

The norm used to be you did not mix certain colors…but that's not the rule these days. We tend to mix colors, patterns, and textures more now then ever. This is a rule that is made to be broken seeing as these two colors go very well together. Today I paired black jeans with this brown leather jacket and a faux fur vest from Alice & Olivia. The vest has small strands of black running through it and I added my black quilted over-the-knee boots. So, here we have our color, texture, and pattern...
