Thankfully, fashion never plays by the rules—and we don’t either.
From bright whites to off-whites, a full white look is always one of my favorites no matter what time of the year it is. Whether you opt for a cozy knit or a sexy slip (or both) all-white layers always looks crisp, clean, and elegant.
Try swapping out your usual jeans with a slip skirt for an elevated alternative to your usual weekend-wear. They can make a low-key top feel more special and they look just as great with sneakers and boots as they do with a pair of heels. Who doesn’t love a versatile silhouette?!
I bought this one by Velvet from a boutique called Circle’s in Upstate NY (highly recommend!) I can’t seem to find it available online, but I did find a similar option from the brand in a pink shade here. The silhouette and the fit are an absolute dream.
Now, let’s talk details. This skirt looks particularly nice paired with a slouchy sweater and chic coat. While both pieces I have on today are older, I have had my eye on this coat from Anine Bing for quite some time. I absolutely love it, and it pairs perfectly with this turtleneck. For finishing touches, the ‘Phaedra headband’ from Namjosh adds the perfect holiday season sparkle with its dazzling display of beading and embroidery. They have amazing head turning accessories. And of course, I can’t forget the bag that looks sleek whilst carrying ALL of the essentials. A worthy splurge.
